OUR STORY
Breathing New Life Into Kincumber's Industrial Area
Tucked away in the industrial pocket of Kincumber - just minutes from the Central Coast’s most sought-after beaches and waterside suburbs - a forgotten five-unit warehouse caught our eye. What began as a simple investment quickly evolved into something much more ambitious.
Rather than following the traditional path, Meisha & David saw an opportunity to reimagine the space entirely. Inspired by the creative energy of Sydney and the sun-drenched modernism of LA, we envisioned a design-conscious, warehouse-style co-working environment that would bring big-city sensibility to a coastal setting.
Once home to mechanics and a local gym, the corrugated iron structure has been completely transformed. Today, it stands as a thoughtfully curated space - equal parts raw and refined - offering flexible studios and communal work areas for entrepreneurs, creatives, and remote teams. It’s not just a place to work; it’s a place to belong.
Designing a Bespoke Coworking Space

Organic Geometry: The Art of Working Apart, Together
To foster both focus and flow within the open-plan layout, Meisha designed and constructed bespoke curved fluted cubicle partitions, each paired with sculptural travertine desks. Eschewing the conventional side-by-side configuration, opting for an organic, sweeping layout that introduces natural separation between members - creating a sense of privacy without compromising the space's airy, communal feel. The curves not only soften the geometry of the warehouse architecture but also lend a calm, considered rhythm to the workspace.

WHO WE ARE
Meet the Team
Husband-and-wife duo Meisha and David Strykowski are the team behind The Studio.Co. With Meisha’s background in design and creative direction, and David’s hands-on expertise in building and renovation, they turned a rundown warehouse into a beautifully crafted space made to inspire. Together, they’ve created a coworking hub that’s as thoughtful as it is functional - designed for people who want to work, connect, and create in style.

With decades of experience spanning product design, graphic design, branding, and creative direction, Meisha Strykowski is the visionary behind The Studio.Co. As an innovative art director and entrepreneur, she brought this benchmark coworking space to life - from concept to creation.
Driven by a desire to break away from the rigid, impersonal layouts of traditional coworking environments, Meisha envisioned a space that felt organic, design-led, and deeply human. She custom-designed The Studio.Co to strike the perfect balance between openness and intimacy - bridging communal energy with personal privacy.
Using CAD and her background in product design, she developed a unique modular system of curved desks and partitions to foster a more natural, flow-oriented workspace. From sourcing materials to working directly with furniture makers, Meisha infused every detail of the space with intentionality, creativity, and craft.
The Studio.Co is more than a workspace - it’s a reflection of Meisha’s belief that design can elevate not just how we work, but how we feel while working.
DAVID STRYKOWKSI
Behind the Scenes

While Meisha Strykowski shaped the creative vision for The Studio.Co, it’s David Strykowski who brought that vision to life - brick by brick. As the hands-on force behind the transformation, David’s journey from finance to construction is as bold as the project itself.
With an early career in finance and foreign exchange, David made a deliberate pivot - retraining as a licensed builder to pursue a more hands-on path renovating and flipping homes. That leap eventually led him to a new chapter: the opportunity to restore a dilapidated industrial property nestled in Kincumber, one of the Central Coast’s most sought-after commercial enclaves.
Recognising its potential, David poured his building expertise into reimagining the forgotten warehouse - meticulously stripping it back and rebuilding it into a thoughtfully executed, design-forward commercial space. Under his craftsmanship, what was once neglected is now a elevated, modern hub designed to support creatives, entrepreneurs, and businesses alike.
